The New 90 days of silence for 2014 03-19-2014

March 19, 2014 in Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk

The New 90 days of silence for 2014, which will be a follow-up of Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk.  For the next 90 days I will truly listen to every word people say and not just listen to talk.  In this blog I will state what people have said to me, then restated from the mind of a dyslexic individual, this should be a highly interesting experiment.

Day one as me and my wife were going over our monthly budget; we follow the Dave Ramsey plan in my house.  We were discussing our charitable donations and church donations, which are stated, should be 10% of your gross income.  There was a shortfall in the monthly budget and the wife said to me.

  • What was said: Let’s take the difference out of the charitable donations.
  • What was heard in the mind of dyslexic: let’s short, the Lord.

90 days of silence day 5

November 11, 2012 in Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk

This new series is called 90 days of silence, which will be a follow-up of Listen to Listen Do  Not Listen to Talk.  For the next 90 days I will truly listen to every word people say and not just listen to talk.  In this blog I will state what people have said to me, then restated from the mind of a dyslexic individual, this should be a highly interesting experiment.

Day 5 of 90 days of silence, I received a interesting question yesterday/ which I will try to answer in this blog.  I will answer the question in two ways.

1.   a direct answer to the question

2.   the question related to the blog

What was said: Lenny Victor Pace “Ok I’ll bite? What is the meaning of 90 days of silence?”

What was heard in the mind of dyslexic?

1.   The basic meaning behind 90 days of silence is a time to listen and not listening to talk.  At the end of each unique statement that people make,  I would like to give the outside world,  A view into the mind of a person with dyslexia.

2.   Since the question was posed at the end of day four, which related to a statement made during the presidential debate.  The question could be why you are picking on my candidate.  Which would be an amazing question to me, since day one of the 90 days of silence was about how me as a Christian has it stronger aversion, to shorten the Lord out of his 10%.  Since day 4 was a political blog post, So to get a comment based on politics and not the Lord would truly be a strong statement about the world that we live in today.

So I hope this answers the question, no matter which one it was.

90 days of silence day 4

October 4, 2012 in Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk

This new series is called 90 days of silence, which will be a follow-up of Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk.  For the next 90 days I will truly listen to every word people say and not just listen to talk.  In this blog I will state what people have said to me, then restated from the mind of a dyslexic individual, this should be a highly interesting experiment.

Day 4 of 90 days of silence, as I watched the presidential debate last night. The question was to both candidates, how you would deal with the deficit and balance the budget.

What was said? Both candidates stated that they would reform the tax code, lowered tax rates and close loopholes, etc.

What was heard in the mind of dyslexic: I will close loopholes that will mostly inconvenience the people that didn’t vote for me, and keep loopholes to help the people that voted for me.

90 days of silence day3

October 3, 2012 in Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk

This new series is called 90 days of silence, which will be a follow-up of Listen to Listen Do Not Listen to Talk.  For the next 90 days I will truly listen to every word people say and not just listen to talk.  In this blog I will state what people have said to me, then restated from the mind of a dyslexic individual, this should be a highly interesting experiment.

Day 3 of 90 days of silence, I have the strong belief in the ultimate right and wrong with no gray area in between. The other day I was walking by a conversation that two of my fellow church members were having about same-sex marriage. It was a unique experience into the belief system of the lateral mindset.

What was said?

  • The first gentleman said gay marriage is an abomination in God’s eyes.
  • The second gentleman said sometime we have to understand all people don’t think the same and we need to guide them in the right direction with patients and love.

What was heard in the mind of dyslexic: my sins are less sinful than other people’s sins because God knows my heart.

What was heard in the mind of dyslexic: we want a minority, who does not act like a minority, but acts like the majority
